Questions, answered
What counts as a handled message?
A comment or DM Herald drafts a reply for, sends a reply to, or hides by your rules. Reading and sorting every message is free, so spam and quiet days cost nothing.
Why no per-seat or per-brand fees?
Teammates and brands cost Herald almost nothing to run, so they cost you nothing. Add everyone who answers for a brand, and limit each person to the brands and actions you choose. You pay for the work Herald does.
What happens when we reach our included messages?
Owners hear at 80%. At 100%, Herald keeps reading and sorting everything but pauses drafting until an owner accepts more messages at the plan’s rate, or the month rolls over.
Does Herald ever reply on its own?
Only when you switch automatic replies on, for the brands and kinds of message you choose, after Herald has shown you what it would have sent.
Can we use our own AI key?
Yes. On Bring your own key, every AI call uses your Anthropic key at its own price, Herald shows what each step cost, and it stops at the monthly cap you set.
Do we still need our publishing tool?
