For churches, ministries and nonprofits
No prayer request lost under four hundred “amens”.
Sunday's livestream brings a flood of thanks, a few honest questions and one message from someone in real trouble. Herald thanks the many, keeps the questions for your pastors, and makes sure the hard one reaches a person.
What keeps this team up
The message that cannot wait
Someone writes that their marriage is over, or that they want to die. Possible crises go to the top for your pastors, with an email, and Herald never answers them or drafts a word.
“Pastor” accounts asking for money
Fake profiles copy your pastor’s photo and ask members for gift cards. With automatic hiding on, scam replies under your posts are hidden in seconds, with the reason shown.
Volunteers, not a call centre
Your care team is a few staff and many volunteers. Volunteers are unlimited on every plan, see only the ministries they serve, and every reply carries their name in the log.
What lands in the inbox
The hour after a Sunday livestream, across the church page and its youth ministry.

How do you square this sermon with Paul saying women should be silent in church?
Draft: That’s a fair and important question, Joel. Pastor Ruth is teaching on 1 Corinthians 14 next month and would love to talk it through; may we have her reach out?

What never happens on its own
However the rules are set, Herald never answers these on its own:
- Hostile / troll / spamInsults, trolling, scams or bot spam. Never answered; Herald suggests hiding it.
- Possible crisisAbuse, self-harm, loss or crisis. Always goes to a person with crisis resources; never automated.
- Legal / press / partnershipPress, legal, sponsorship or takedown requests. Goes to the Owner; never drafted.
Every reading, decision, draft, send and hide is kept in an audit log that cannot be edited, and can be exported.
Automatic replies stay off until the brand switches them on, after Herald shows what they would have sent.

Questions this team asks
Will Herald ever answer someone in crisis?
Never. Messages that read as self-harm, abuse or a crisis go to the top of the inbox for your pastors, with an email to each, and Herald writes no draft. A person always answers.
Can volunteers help without seeing everything?
Yes. Give each volunteer a role and the ministries they serve: the youth team sees youth messages only. Teammates are unlimited on every plan, so a new volunteer costs nothing.
Does it sound like us, or like a bot?
Each ministry has its own voice: how you speak, the facts you have given (service times, addresses) and the replies you keep as examples. A draft that needs a fact you have not given waits for a person.
Can it tell a prayer request from praise?
It reads thanks and praise as appreciation, and heavy or personal messages as possible crises for a person. There is no separate prayer-request label yet, so a request that is not a crisis is reviewed by your team.
What about theological questions?
Questions about Scripture or teaching are drafted for review, and you can mark them for your pastors only. They are never sent on their own.
Is it affordable for a church?
Plans are priced by the messages Herald drafts, sends or hides; reading and sorting are free, and every plan includes every feature and unlimited teammates.
